Good dental health has greatly prolonged the lifespan and comfort of our horses as compared to the wild horse populations.

Dentistry is an integral part of the performance of the show horse.  It is important for keeping good gastro-intestinal health and keeping the horse in good physical condition.  As well it affects how the horse interacts with bit contact, frames itself in collection, comfort during riding as well as development of oral vices.  Dentistry is as important in the young show horse as it is in the geriatric horse in your pasture.

Since the clinic started, equine dentistry has been a very large portion of our caseload.  More than one thousand horses have been seen for routine or extensive dental work in the practice.  We utilize the latest and best equipment from Powerfloat.
